Our Mission

The Mount Carroll UMC is a part of the Rockford District of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Our mission is to spread the ministry of Jesus Christ through our community and beyond. We continue to develop new Bible studies and mission adventures every year.  You may want to be a part of something just getting started or a seasoned program with the momentum of success.

In service to Christ we offer programs and facilities to uplift your faith and spirit.   Our hope is that you will find your place on the holy ground.

Mount Carroll is a wonderful place to live.  And the church is a wonderful place to be.

Ministry

The Rev. Mark Harkness has been pastor  of the church since July 2003.

Location

We are located in Mount Carroll, IL, the county seat of Carroll County.  The community of 1,700 resident is situated about 10 miles from the Mississippi River in the second county south of the Wisconsin border..
